ROUNDTABLE: Reflecting on public budgeting and inclusive governance

The South African Health Technologies Advocacy Coalition (SAHTAC), in partnership with the Mail & Guardian and the Imali Yethu civil society coalition for open budgets, is hosting a hybrid roundtable centred on budgeting, inclusive governance, oversight and activism. The event is titled Reflecting on public budgeting and inclusive governance: the role of policy oversight and activism.
The venue is the Radisson Blue Gautrain hotel in Sandton. Guests include Dr. Kay Brown of the Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative, Dr. Dumisani Jantjies of the Parliamentary Budget Office, and Mx. Thokozile Madonko of the Wits Public Economy Project.
The keynote speaker is the Hon. Lechesa Tsenoli, deputy speaker of the National Assembly in South Africa’s Parliament.
