How civil society can support the government to deliver on Zondo’s procurement recommendations
16 February 2022 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
The Zondo commission’s first report, released in January, highlights the link between public procurement and corruption, and provides a series of observations and recommendations on the need to reform public procurement, specifically in terms of transparency.
Join the Open Contracting Partnership and guests in a community call to explore the roles of civil society, journalists, and other oversight actors in ensuring that public money is spent effectively. We will discuss opportunities for collaboration with the government, key areas for change, and next steps in creating a strong open contracting ecosystem.
