Corruption Watch will release a report titled X-Ray: The critical state of the health sector in SA on Wednesday, 22 July 2020. The report captures the voices of hundreds of people who have reported corruption in the health sector to Corruption Watch in the eight years of the organisation’s existence.

The report raises pertinent issues relating to corruption in the South African healthcare system and sheds light on the recurring trends across all the provinces. It also highlights the devastating impact of corruption particularly on the most vulnerable in the society.

The organisation hopes that the insights provided by this report will lead to a change for the over 80% of South African residents relying on some 4 300 public health facilities in the country.
