On Tuesday 22 September, Corruption Watch will release its 2020 Analysis of Corruption Trends (ACT) report.
This fourth edition of the half-yearly publication provides a snapshot of what the public has identified as areas of concern in the fight against corruption in South Africa. It sheds light on the forms and types of corruption reported to the organisation during the first half of 2020, and highlights some of the disturbing corruption trends that have emerged during the Covid-19 crisis in various spheres of government and across a number of sectors.
The organisation commends the courageous whistle-blowers who, despite the global Covid-19 crisis, continued to express their outrage by reporting incidents of corruption to Corruption Watch.
